Cookie Policy
Cookies
A website makes use, in some cases, of cookies. Their use is linked to technical reasons and to the functioning of the system.
The information collected by cookies does not have the purpose of identifying the user personally, but contains general data on computer settings, operating system, IP address and browsing times on the website.
The information collected can be used in aggregate form for the analysis of the use of the website.
Cookies are small text files that the sites visited send to the user's terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone, notebook), where they are stored, and then re-transmitted to the same sites on the next visit. They are used to perform computer authentication, session monitoring and storing information on sites (without the use of "technical" cookies some operations would be very complex or impossible to perform). But through cookies it is also possible to monitor navigation, collect data on tastes, habits, personal choices that allow the reconstruction of detailed consumer profiles.

Types of cookies
In this regard, and for the purposes of this provision, the following are identified:
Technical cookies
Technical cookies are those used for the sole purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication over an electronic communications network, or as strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide this service" (see art. 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). They are not used for other purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They can be divided into navigation or session cookies, which guarantee normal navigation and use of the website (allowing, for example, to make a purchase or authenticate to access restricted areas); analytics cookies, assimilated to technical cookies when used directly by the site operator to collect information, in aggregate form, on the number of users and how they visit the site; functionality cookies, which allow the user to navigate according to a series of selected criteria (for example, the language, the products selected for purchase) in order to improve the service rendered to the same.
Profiling cookies
Profiling cookies are designed to create user profiles and are used to send advertising messages in line with the preferences expressed by the user while surfing the net. Due to the particular invasiveness that such devices can have in the private sphere of users, European and Italian legislation provides that the user must be adequately informed about their use and thus express their valid consent.
In consideration of the person who installs the cookies we can distinguish:
First-party (or proprietary) cookies: subjects and readable only by the domain that created them;
Third-party cookies: subjects and created by domains external to the one we are visiting.
In consideration of the duration of the life of the cookie, the following are distinguished:
Session (or temporary) cookies: they are deleted when the browser is closed;
Persistent: they remain stored as files, even after the browser is closed and are deleted after a certain pre-established period of time.
